Tinker, Banker, NeoCon, Spy
digby has some compelling comments and relevant links about one Ahmed Chalabi and his jockeying for a position in the post-attack government in Iraq.
I'm deeply ashamed of the way in which most Americans are trying to justify this pre-emptive strike. They hang on every newsfeed hoping for the 'smoking gun' that will redeem their support of this action not once considering that evidence should have come before the action not as a result.
I'm not sure if the post-attack maneuverings will be enough to convince them that any interest the Bush adminstration has in Iraq is contrived and self-centered or even if some would object when they do. But certainly there will be no denying their intentions once they play out. At least one would think so.
